Conducted due diligence for private equity fund prior to the acquisition of 400-acre coastal Brownfields site in California with active oil field operations; work included standard Phase I and Phase II assessments, meetings with regulatory officials, placement of environmental insurance policy, development of remediation plan for extensive petroleum contamination, and evaluation of proposed land use near sensitive wetlands/coastal areas.
