The firm represents three foreign nationals who were detained by the United States government at the Guantánamo Bay detention facility. On behalf of the detainees, the firm has engaged in multidisciplinary actions across numerous venues, including habeas corpus litigation before the D.C. District Court, administrative proceedings before the "Interagency Review Team," and litigation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. The firm has also engaged in negotiations with foreign governments and non-governmental organizations in order to secure the resettlement of detainees who have been approved for release from the detention facility.
