Jill Cox focuses her practice on employment litigation and employment counseling. She has litigated a wide variety of employment-related disputes in numerous states throughout the country and represented employers in matters pending before government agencies. Her experience includes defending claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful discharge, as well as litigating matters involving non-competition agreements and other restrictive covenants.

In addition to her trial practice, Ms. Cox advises employers on complex employment issues. She also drafts and reviews personnel policies and contracts related to the employment relationship.

Ms. Cox was a 2005 recipient of “40 Under 40” award, presented by The Business Journal in recognition of outstanding area leaders under 40 years of age. She was named a 2010, 2011 and 2012 North Carolina "Super Lawyer" for Labor & Employment by SuperLawyers magazine. She is AV® rated in Martindale-Hubbell.
