Larry Roberts concentrates his practice on helping clients protect their inventions and litigating patent infringement disputes. He prepares and prosecutes domestic and foreign patent applications, primarily for medical devices, building and construction materials, and general mechanical inventions. Mr. Roberts has handled both jury and bench trials in various Federal District Courts and has successfully argued a number of appeals at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His experience also includes handling appeals and interferences before the Patent Office Board of Appeals and Interferences. Mr. Roberts regularly renders opinions to clients on the patentability of inventions, patent infringement, and patent validity. Mr. Roberts has served as a patent expert in several patent infringement cases.
Mr. Roberts was named a 2008 "Legal Elite" by Georgia Trend magazine and a 2008 Georgia "Super Lawyer" in Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property Litigation by SuperLawyers magazine. He is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell. *
